MY-FI Project in Dyloan Bond Factory

The event, which took place at the Chieti plant of Dyloan Bond Factory, explored the theme of the use of new responsible materials in the fashion and automotive sectors. Funded by the EU, the heart of the project is the development and testing of mycelium-processed fibre, a new non-woven fabric made from mycelium microfibres, with improved performance and a reduced environmental impact compared to current commercially available fibres. The project will optimize and enhance new bio-manufacturing protocols along with wet processing and finishing of materials. Its goal is to meet consumer demand for sustainable and eco-friendly textile products.
